Salvage title cars for sale in Manitoba (no vehicles listed yet)

Every vehicle here carries a salvage status brand on its registration, under whatever word its province uses.

Nothing is listed here right now. Listing is free, and a success fee applies only if you accept an offer.

What a salvage brand means

Written off after damage and usually repairable, but it must pass the province’s inspection before it can be put back on the road.

On Manitoba registrations

Salvageable
Written off after collision or structural damage. It can’t be driven until it’s repaired and passes a body integrity inspection and a safety inspection, and it’s then registered as Rebuilt.
Salvageable with Exception
Written off for cosmetic damage only, such as hail. It needs a safety inspection before it can be registered, but no body integrity inspection.
Rules differ by province, so check with your registry before you buy, repair or register a vehicle.

Questions buyers ask

Is a salvage brand the same as a salvage title?

Canada doesn’t use vehicle titles. Each province records a status brand against the vehicle’s registration instead, and a salvage brand is the closest thing to a US salvage title.

What should I check before I make an offer?

Go through the damage, condition and photos, check the Score’s reasons and message the seller through DNF. Before you pay, ask your registry what it needs to be registered again.

What does the Score on each listing mean?

It rates the listing out of 100 from its answers on the brand, damage, condition and paperwork, with the reasons shown. We don’t inspect vehicles, so it’s only a guide.

How do I buy one of these vehicles?

Create a free account and offer above or below the asking price. If the seller accepts, you pay an introduction fee and the seller pays a success fee. Once both fees are paid, you swap contact details and arrange payment and pickup. DNF never handles the money for the vehicle.
